Wow, What a bizare past few months.

First off, I moved into my own condo at the beginning of October, and now I’m moving out of here to the city of Florence! I’m stoked. Why am I moving you may ask? For work. I’ve been promoted to Asst Manager in Photo Electronics and they’re moving me down to the Coast. Some neat facts about Florence, Oregon:

Lots of retired people,

Lots of rain,

air quality rating of 16, on a scale of 1-100 (sad)

Great dunes for Offroad activities,

Sand boarding,

9,000 people (roughly) live in the area

There is a casino.

SO yeah, I’m stoked and nervous at the same time..

I’m going to miss being away from my friends..

After a long night of making love, the young guy rolled over, pulled out a cigarette from his jeans and searched for his lighter.

Unable to find it, he asked the girl if she had one at hand.

“There might be some matches in the top drawer,” she replied.

He opened the drawer of the bedside table and found a box of matches sitting neatly on top of a framed picture of another man.

Naturally, the guy began to worry.

“Is this your husband?” he inquired nervously.

“No, silly,” she replied, snuggling up to him.

“Your boyfriend then?” he asked.

“No, not at all,” she said, nibbling away at his ear.

“Well, who is he then?” demanded the bewildered guy.

Calmly, the girl replied, “That’s me before the operation.”

Wow have I been busy. I’ve spent some time with some friends that I shouldn’t have been away from for so long!! I’m begining to like Portland, everytime I get up there I have more and more fun!  I’ve been really active on Twitter, as well as drinkinsalem.com and of course my primary source of income..

If you’ve got Facebook and a Twitter acount, i’ve got this program for you.. It’s called TweetDeck and it’s free. It runs using very little resources  and allows to to update your FaceBook status as well as your Twitter account! You can read messages, post messages to other people and more using this program. I’ve had it only for a few hours and already I love it.

What a great addition!

The team at TopGear.com  decided to take a 1981 Vw rabbit and meet two goals with few options. 1, 0-60 time of 7 seconds or less. 2, obtain a mile per gallon of fuel usage of 70 (twice that of a toyota prius).  I’ll skip through the nitty gritty and brake it down. New Brakes, H&R suspension, TDI motor out of a 2002 Jetta, some minor body work, alot of tuning and voila.

Granted the fuel test was only done by driving one mile and topping the tank off again… It still managed to nail a 84mpg ratiing. I call it the Little German that Could.  For more information on this build, check out Top Gear’s website and this little car by clicking here

For any fan of the Beastie Boys, I found this remix on Myspace of a song called “Alive”. It’s got some smooth beat lines and I liked enough that after I added it to my myspace page, I began a search for it online. Unsucessful in my Googling, yahoo-ng and p2p searches I did the smartest thing. I contacted the guy in Poland via his myspace and asked for the file! He promptly replied saying I could have it when he found it himself, this of course only took  him like 20 minutes and I had the mp3 on my pc and mp3 player! He goes by the name see4thD and has some sweet tracks. In return for him sharing this file with me, I intend to share with you, of course with his permission!
